San Diego, CA, April 10th, 2024 - Unlimited Off-Road Racing announced updated points in the overall 2024 points championship today. The calculations include data from The Parker 400, and The Mint 400 in preparation for the final race of the season, The California 300 October 2nd - 6th. Drivers have been awarded points based on their final position in each event, with DNF points awarded by distance, determined by remote timing gate data. UNLTD will award an Overall Champion in the Unlimited and Limited races, in addition to class champions.

It came down to the final lap after impressive performances by both drivers, but Adam Householder came out ahead of Eric Hardin in an intense Unlimited Truck battle in the California 300 on Sunday. After four brutal laps and more than 300 miles of action in the Barstow desert, Householder made it to the finish line in 6:12:03, clearing Hardin for the overall victory by just over 10 minutes.
After an afternoon of thrilling action in the Barstow desert, Brayden Baker found himself atop the final standings in the 2023 California 300 UTV and Limited Race when the dust finally settled. With a final time of 5:18:28, Baker finished more than 12 minutes ahead of runner-up Sierra Romo in both their class and the overall standings, taking over the lead on the final lap after running towards the front all day.
The 2023 California 300 brought some of the brightest young talents in off-road out to the Barstow desert for a full slate of Youth races, and the kids took full advantage of the opportunity by putting on an exciting show on Saturday morning. Brothers Jameson and Jackson Mandle came out on top of the respective races, winning the Youth 170 Open and Youth 250 classes respectively, while Paxton Grinolds and Cooper Heald earned class victories of their own.
2023 Mint 400 Unlimited Truck winner Eric Hardin and UNLTD Off-Road Racing UTV Pro Turbo points leader Bruce Binnquist topped Friday’s qualifying sessions for the 2023 California 300 in their respective groups. Hardin’s 7:50.081 was more than four seconds better than anyone else in the car and truck groups, while Binnquist’s 8:24.425 paced the UTV divisions as he took top qualifying honors for the second year in a row.
JCR/Honda rider Preston Campbell was untouchable in the Barstow desert on Friday morning, winning the inaugural California 300 Motorcycle Race with an unofficial time across the line of 4:21:22. On a course designed by his father, 2018 Off-Road Motorsport Hall of Fame inductee Johnny Campbell, the younger Campbell ushered in the return of bikes to the high desert with a blistering pace ahead of Barstow native and runner-up Matthew Combs.
After finishing on the podium here last year, Mason Cotter finished two spots better in his second attempt at the California 300 Youth 1000 Race on Friday. Cotter would take the checkered flag over 2022 winner Chaden Zane Minder, starting his sixth lap prior to the timed cutoff as Minder and the rest of the remaining field would complete their fifth lap after the clock ran out.
The second annual California 300 is in full swing in Barstow, as Thursday morning’s second annual California 300 Poker Run opened the course to the general public before three full days of racing on Friday through Sunday, and finishers were greeted by the Off-Road Festival on the Start/Finish Midway. San Diego, CA August 17th 2023 - The Martelli Brothers announced today that the 2024 UNLTD Off-Road Racing Rulebook will go into effect after the 2023 California 300 this October 4-8. The goal of the announcement is to give racers adequate time to prepare and plan for the upcoming 2024 race season.

Race registration for the 2023 California 300 opens this Thursday, April 20th at 10am PST. The second annual race event marks the return to the well known OHV recreation, racing and testing area in Barstow, California. Race registration will once again utilize the Off-Road Racer registration system, so if you already have an Off-Road Racer profile, you are ready to register. King of the Hammers and Hammerking Productions owner and CEO Dave Cole, and The Mint 400 and The California 300 owners Matt and Josh Martelli announced today that they have structured a brand new, three-race, championship points series dubbed the “Unlimited Off-Road Racing Triple Crown Championship”. The announcement comes as King of the Hammers racers are undergoing their preparations for intense race action beginning the last weekend in January, of 2023.
The final day of action at the inaugural California 300 kicked off on Saturday morning with the UTV World Championship Youth Races, a slate of four separate rounds on the event short courses in Barstow. Dozens of talented young racers packed the entry lists, with some drivers even pulling double duty as they looked to become the first winners in the history of the new event.
