California 300 Race Registration Opens This Thursday at 10am PST
Race registration for the 2023 California 300 opens this Thursday, April 20th at 10am PST on this page. The second annual race event marks the return to the well known OHV recreation, racing and testing area in Barstow, California. Race registration will once again utilize the Off-Road Racer registration system, so if you already have an Off-Road Racer profile, you are ready to register. Please review the Race Registration Guide to familiarize yourself with the process. You may pay their entry in full up front or opt to use The California 300 payment plan. There will be a draw for qualifying & race start positions in 2023.
“We’re opening registration for The California 300 a full two months earlier than last year to give our racers, partners, sponsors, valued volunteers and staff plenty of time to plan before the approaching summer break,” said California 300 CEO, Matt Martelli. “We’re thrilled to be returning to Barstow this fall to build on the success of our inaugural event in 2022, and have some exciting competition brewing for those competing in the Triple Crown Championship as we conclude our season with this event. Racers and fans can expect a similar schedule as last year and we’re working hard to finalize those details, but now is the time to save the dates, register, and plan your race schedule.”
“We’re very close to having our preliminary Schedule of Events finalized, but it’s time to start getting the racers in the queue, racked up and ready to go,” said California 300 Event Director, Kilian Hamlin. “We have some tweaks to the event that are really going to make it more accessible and fan friendly this year including moving the Midway to Barstow Main, the addition of motorcycles to our list of classes and opening up the race course with some longer faster stretches. We are also pushing hard to get a livestream package in place to be able to provide the same level of media coverage as The Mint 400 for those not in attendance.”
All of the exciting California 300 race action will once again take place October 5th – 8th right off the 15 Freeway in Barstow, California.
