BFGoodrich Celebrates Nine Years as Title Sponsor of Mint 400
American Off-Road Racing Championship officials are proud to once again celebrate BFGoodrich Tires as the title sponsor of the 2026 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400. As always, the BFGoodrich brand will be omnipresent throughout the Great American Off-Road Race—from the Mint 400 Vehicle Parade and Off-Road Festival in downtown Las Vegas to both days of racing action in Primm at the Start/Finish Midway.
As a key part of their support of the event, BFGoodrich’s line of high-performance tires will be on display all weekend long, including at the Mint 400 Off-Road Festival on Fremont Street East in downtown Las Vegas on Thursday, March 5, which is free and open to the public.
2026 marks the ninth consecutive year of supporting “The Great American Off-Road Race.” The official relationship dates back even further than that, as BFGoodrich served as the race’s presenting sponsor for multiple years prior, but BFG-equipped racers have been taking on the Great American Off Road Race ever since its inception in 1968.

The introduction of the Radial All-Terrain T/A in 1976 changed desert racing forever and quickly established the brand’s dominance in the sport. For five decades, BFGoodrich has continued to lead from the front—constantly innovating, pushing performance boundaries, and never letting off the gas,” said Matt Martelli, CEO of Unlimited Off-Road Racing.
Last year, BFGoodrich swept both Mint 400 overall wins on four wheels. Adam Householder won the Unlimited Race on a set of BFGoodrich Baja T/A KR3 tires, giving BFGoodrich the Unlimited Race win for the 13th consecutive year, while Brock Heger took the Limited Race on his BFGoodrich Baja T/A KR2 SXS/UTV tires. BFGoodrich also holds the records in multiple classes, as well as being the most widely preferred tire at The Mint 400.
The Mint 400 has held the title of the toughest, most spectacular off-road race in North America since 1968 when it was first run. Initially, the race was a public relations event promoting the Mint Hotel’s annual deer hunt, but what started out as a hotel promotion soon grew into a legitimate desert race. Since its 2008 revival, “The Great American Off-Road Race” has only gotten bigger and more prestigious, and deeper fields every year only make it tougher to win.
