Biography

From the dunes of Sand Lake to the desert circuits of the Southwest, this Oregon Coast native has spent a lifetime chasing the perfect line. His obsession with off-road speed took root in junior high, not on a traditional track, but behind the wheel of a Baja Bug towed up on a flatbed from San Diego. What started as a teenager's project to conquer the local trails quickly evolved into a pursuit of competitive racing. Ten years ago, he traded the Oregon fog for the rugged high desert, moving to Boise Idaho. The transition only fueled his passion, as he found a new home among the volcanic soil and sweeping vistas of the Snake River Plain. Today, he has graduated from this air-cooled beginnings to the cockpit of a Class 10. Whether he's navigating the technical tight sections of the Tillamook State Forest or pinned at full throttle in the Idaho desert, he remains a "dirt wave" rider at heart, bringing enthusiasm and spirit to his first starting line at the 2026 Mint 400!
