Monster Energy Returns to the 2024 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400!
Monster Energy will return as a partner of the BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 for 2024, event officials announced today. As part of the partnership, Monster Energy will be present throughout the Great American Off-Road Race, from the Mint 400 Off-Road Festival on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas to the race action itself in Primm. In addition, many of the drivers expected to go for the win in this year’s race will be backed by Monster Energy, The Beast Unleashed, and Nasty Beast Hard Tea.
“Monster Energy does so much for the sport of off-road racing, and we’re thrilled to have them as a major partner of the BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 as a part of that support,” said Mint 400 CEO Matt Martelli. “From their presence on site to keep fans refreshed and entertained, to their support of the biggest names in the sport, few brands are more engaged with their activation. We can’t wait to see our fans loving all things Monster at this year’s Great American Off-Road Race!”
In the Unlimited Race, the Monster Energy colors will be present on Tim Herbst’s Unlimited Truck, Casey Currie’s Class 1 Unlimited entry, the 4400 Unlimited car of Shannon Campbell, and the Unlimited Truck SPEC machines of Donald “Cowboy” Cerrone and EJ and Thor Herbst. Cerrone will pull double duty in the UTV Pro Open class of the Limited Race, where he’ll be joined by the UTV Pro entries of multi-time Mint 400 winner Dustin “Battle Axe” Jones, Matt Burroughs, Marc Burnett, and Cameron Steele, as well as additional Monster-backed UTV racers Ricky Brabec and Sara Price.
In addition, Monster’s hard variant The Beast Unleashed and its sister brand, Nasty Beast Hard Tea, will also be represented in the Unlimited Race. Kyle Jergensen carries The Beast Unleashed colors in the Unlimited Truck SPEC class and will be looking for a class win after fighting for the top step of the podium in the Parker 400 in January. After carrying the Nasty Beast colors in UTV action in Parker, Christian Sourapas will return to the Unlimited Truck class with the brand to defend his Mint 400 overall podium from last year.
