FOX Puts Up Over $100,000 in Contingency Bonuses at 2025 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400

For the 13th consecutive year, FOX will return to the BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 on March 5-9 as an official event sponsor, UNLTD Off-Road Racing officials are pleased to announce today. As in years past, FOX will return to the Mint 400 Off-Road Festival on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas, sponsor the challenging Proving Grounds on the race course, and offer over $100,000 in contingency bonuses to FOX-equipped racers who can take podium finishes in the Great American Off-Road Race.

“The FOX Proving Grounds are synonymous with the BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400, and we couldn’t be more excited to welcome FOX back for 2025,” said UNLTD CEO Matt Martelli. “Over the past decade-plus, our partnership has seen some of the world’s top off-road racers score some major FOX bonuses for taming the FOX Proving Grounds and winning the race. Be sure to check them out downtown at the Mint 400 Off-Road Festival and on-site at Primm as we see if a FOX-backed racer can take home the bonus this year!”

Top FOX-equipped racers on the entry list in 2025 include Unlimited Truck 2WD racer Ryan Arciero, who led much of last year’s race; Dustin Jones, who has won the Mint 400 three times, including back-to-back overall Limited Race wins in 2021 and 2022; fellow multi-time Mint 400 winner Mitch Guthrie Jr., who returns to UTVs after finishing fifth overall in his first Dakar in the Ultimate category; and Off-Road Motorsports Hall of Famer Cameron Steele, who will take to the track in three separate race classes over the weekend.

This year’s FOX contingency bonuses at the BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 are headlined by up to $20,000 for winning the Unlimited Race overall with FOX. Other classes eligible for major bonuses include $10,000 for Unlimited Truck SPEC and $5,000 for Class 1, UTV Pro Open, UTV Pro, and the overall Limited Race winner. Finally, the JM Memorial 1600 Bonus will see up to $20,000 made available to the ½ - 1600 class winner if the class can attract 20 entries. In 1989, John Marking beat out 88 competitors in the ½-1600 class at The Mint 400 and finished 11th overall. At the finish line, he decided he needed to learn how to work on shocks after absolutely punishing himself and the vehicle for hours through the harsh Nevada desert.

For nearly five decades, FOX has been an industry leader in the design and development of high-performance shock absorbers and racing suspension products for snowmobiles, mountain bikes, motorcycles, ATVs, UTVs, off-road cars, trucks, and SUVs.
In 1974, Bob Fox started racing his products in motocross and we haven’t stopped racing since. FOX equipped vehicles and racers have stood atop podiums in every sport we have competed in — from the sands of Baja to the dunes of Dakar.
Our team of engineers performs rigorous tests with our athletes year-round. The data we collect from performance testing and our application of that knowledge to our product is what separates FOX from every other suspension company. For more information, visit www.ridefox.com.

The Mint 400 has held the title of the toughest, most spectacular off-road race in North America since 1968 when it was first run. Initially, the race was a public relations event promoting the Mint Hotel’s annual deer hunt, but what started out as a hotel promotion soon grew into a legitimate desert race. Since its 2008 revival, “The Great American Off-Road Race” has only gotten bigger and more prestigious, and deeper fields every year only make it tougher to win.
This year’s BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 will take place from March 5-9 in Las Vegas. More information on the event for racers and spectators is available at TheMint400.com, or follow the event on Facebook and Instagram.
