Jackson Mandle kicked off the proceedings by scoring the Youth 170 Open and overall win, beating second place Landon Morrow over 14 laps by more than 20 seconds. Dexter Warren headed up the 170 Production entries in the combined race. The margin of victory got even closer in the Youth 250 race, as Paxton Schendel beat Jacob Williamson by 13 seconds as the only two lead-lap finishers in the 25-minute timed race.

Schendel got right back after it in the Youth 570 race, topping both the Open and overall standings as the only lead-lap finisher; second place overall Evan Atkins was the top Production entry in the race. Finally, in the Youth 1000 race, Chaden Zane Minder earned the victory over Chase Mankin, with Mason Cotter completing the podium.

“Youth racing is a hugely important part of off-road racing, and we’re psyched to have had such a great turnout at the inaugural California 300,” said California 300 CEO Matt Martelli. “We have no doubt that the kids who took part in today’s races are the Limited and Unlimited class winners of tomorrow. Congratulations to all the class winners, and thanks to everybody who took part—you’re helping to keep our sport strong for the future!”
