Brand Information

Founded in 2007, Rebel Racing is a student-run, non-profit organization at the University of Nevada, Las Vegas (UNLV). Our team designs and manufactures a single-seat off-road vehicle to compete in the Baja SAE Collegiate Design Series.

What sets Rebel Racing apart is its diverse and collaborative membership. Students from Engineering, Business, Computer Science, and other disciplines work side by side, combining their skills to achieve a common goal. From freshmen to seniors, every member gains valuable hands-on experience in design, manufacturing, teamwork, and leadership.

Baja SAE challenges university teams to engineer a rugged, single-seat recreational off-road vehicle using a standardized 10-horsepower Kohler engine. Vehicles are judged on design, endurance, safety, and overall performance across a variety of terrains and event challenges.
