Founded in 2022, the Nevada Offroad Association (NVORA) is Nevada’s statewide nonprofit representing local riders working year-round to protect where we ride. Built by the community and for the community, NVORA partners with land managers, clubs, and event organizers to keep recreation open, responsible, and sustainable across the state.

Led by lifelong Nevada riders Laura butcher and and Mathew giltner, whose combined lifetime of experience in the off-road community guides the organization’s efforts, NVORA brings real-world rider knowledge into conversations that shape access and policy.

Local users make the difference. When the people who actually ride are involved, solutions work better — trails stay open, impacts are reduced, and events can continue responsibly.

From trail stewardship and cleanups to education and advocacy, NVORA helps ensure Nevada remains one of the best places in the country to ride — not just today, but for future generations.
