J Resort is offering Vegas to Reno participants a flat special event room rate of $69.99/night (plus fees and taxes) and FREE oversize parking for trucks, trailers and race vehicles. Hotel guests with race vehicles parked at the J Resort oversized parking lots will be able to off-load and drive straight in to the Reno Off-Road Festival footprint.

So What's Happening at J Resort?
This year’s event carries special significance as the legendary race celebrates its 30th anniversary, and for the first time ever, will be run in reverse, adding a bold new twist to one of off-road racing’s most iconic challenges. Race week kicks off with the Vegas to Reno Off-Road Festival, beginning Wednesday afternoon, August 12, and continuing through Thursday, August 13. The green flag drops Friday morning, August 14, sending teams on their journey across Nevada.
Race/Media/Volunteer Registration: All racers, media and volunteers will check in at J Resort’s Cedar Mezzanine Ballroom, where credentials, packets, and final event information will be distributed. This centralized location streamlines the process and places racers directly in the middle of the action.
The Reno Off-Road Festival: Downtown Reno comes alive with a full-scale Off-Road Festival surrounding J Resort. Fans and locals will experience race vehicles up close, explore exhibitor displays, meet teams and drivers, and take part in a high-energy kickoff celebration that brings the sport directly to the public.
Technical Inspection: Tech & Contingency will take place adjacent to J Resort, transforming downtown Reno into a live showcase of the sport. Race vehicles will be on display as they go through inspection, creating a fan-friendly environment similar to the iconic Fremont Street experience at The Mint 400.
Drivers Meeting: The official Drivers Meeting will be hosted at J Resort’s “Glow Plaza”, bringing all competitors together for final instructions, updates, and key race information before heading out to take on the longest off-road race in America—run in reverse.
