The 30th anniversary running of Casey Folks Vegas to Reno “The Other Way” presented by Camburg and Magnaflow saw an all-new Reno Off-Road Festival experience debut in downtown Reno on Thursday. J Resort Reno played host to tech and contingency for the first time, welcoming thousands of off-road racing enthusiasts and drivers, riders, and crews for more than 350 entries set to race Friday’s American Off-Road Racing Championship event.

Following the tradition of the Mint 400 Off-Road Festival on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas, turning its host city into the ultimate off-road experience is a hallmark of AORC races. Despite stormy weather for part of the afternoon, Reno was up to the task, welcoming a parade of vehicles ranging from Unlimited Trucks to Sportsman cars and everything in between. Also on hand were dozens of AORC and Vegas to Reno sponsors, showing off the latest and greatest in off-road products and technology to racers and fans alike.

Also on hand for the afternoon was 2026 Vegas to Reno Grand Marshal Jeremy Renner, who will compete in Friday’s race to support the RennerVation Foundation, the Official Charity of this year’s race. The community has already raised over $25,000 for the foundation through the Miles That Matter program, donating $20 per mile for multiple race teams competing in Friday’s event.

“We couldn’t have asked for a better debut for the Reno Off-Road Festival,” said Unlimited Off-Road Racing CEO Matt Martelli. “Our racers and partners really showed up to make this event special, and off-road fans in Reno came out in a big way to celebrate the sport. With this being the first time that Vegas to Reno has ever run ‘The Other Way,’ it was amazing to create such an exciting new part of the event from scratch. Thanks to everyone who joined us, now it’s time to race!”
