Brock Heger Bests Limited Racers in 2026 Casey Folks Vegas to Reno “The Other Way” presented by Camburg/Magnaflow
Brock Heger scored his second American Off-Road Racing Championship win in as many starts in 2026 by pacing all of the Limited class entries in the Casey Folks Vegas to Reno “The Other Way” presented by Camburg/Magnaflow. The Polaris RZR Factory Racing driver finished 505 miles of racing through the Nevada desert in 7 hours, 51 minutes, and 29 seconds, backing up his BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 win from earlier in the year and checking off one of the few races that neither he nor the team had won yet.
From the start of the day, UTV Pro points leader and 2026 Parker 400 winner Phil Blurton and Heger were expected to be the racers to watch. Blurton, a multi-time winner of Vegas to Reno when run in its traditional direction, drew first blood by beating Heger by just over half a second in qualifying, but Heger would find himself in the first position on the road soon enough.
The duo would remain first and second on course for most of the day, but Heger would keep distancing himself from Blurton out front, eventually extending the gap to more than eight minutes on corrected time. That gave 14th-place qualifier Cody Bradbury an opportunity to pounce, stealing second on corrected time from Blurton by just under five minutes. Heger and Bradbury would be the only UTV Pro racers to crack the eight-hour mark, with Blurton falling just 12 seconds short.
At a race like Vegas to Reno, finishes in the Limited classes can feel like wins no matter what, and most class winners wouldn’t be crowned until well into the night. Todd Zuccone claimed the win in UTV Pro Stock Modified, Alexia Leaming earned top honors in UTV Pro NA, and Steve Allen won the UTV Pro Turbo class. The last Limited class winner to roll in was Stock Production Truck Mini/Mid winner Gregory Pheasant, whose team endured nearly 15 and a half hours on course.
Joining the Limited racers as well were a fleet of Youth 1000 competitors, whose route took them 73 miles to the second pit at Top Gun. Aiden Coots scored his first podium of the season as the top driver on the day, beating two-time 2026 podium finisher Kevin Braun to the finish line by nearly five and a half minutes.
