The first official event of the 2025 UNLTD Off-Road Racing Series season took place on Saturday in Parker, Arizona, as the Parker 400 race course opened for racers and enthusiasts alike in the second annual Parker 400 Poker Run. The first stage of UNLTD’s season-opening race saw the general public take to the race course in non-race cars, trucks, and UTVs, with competitors getting their first look at parts of next week’s race course.

“Thanks to all of the participants and volunteers involved in today’s Parker 400 Poker Run,” said UNLTD CEO Matt Martelli. “The Poker Run is always exciting because it means that race week is finally here, and that’s especially the case for Parker because it’s the start of a new season. We’re excited to keep the momentum rolling with Sunday’s Desert Cleanup as we get ready for a big race week ahead!”

The Parker 400 Poker Run course totaled roughly 77 of the 145 race miles that car and truck competitors will see on their race days, running out to the Midway pit and back. The Poker Run once again started and finished at the CRIT Gauntlet, the same place where racers will take the green flag and champions will be crowned in next weekend’s UNLTD season opener.

Part of each UNLTD event, the Poker Run doesn’t just offer the public an opportunity to see the race course, it also features exciting prize opportunities for all competitors. Participants spun a virtual poker hand marker at the finish line to record their hands, with prizes and trophies for the top three hands set to be handed out at Saturday night’s awards ceremony at the Blue Water Resort & Casino.

The 2025 Parker 400 schedule continues tomorrow with the return of the Republic Services Parker 400 Desert Cleanup, which kicks off at 9AM in the Upper Shea Road spectator area. Last year’s inaugural Parker 400 Desert Cleanup removed an estimated 12 tons of trash from the Arizona desert, adding to the hundreds of tons removed across all UNLTD events over the years. About UNLTD Off-Road Racing

The Unlimited Off-Road Racing league was formed by The Martelli Brothers in 2023 after more than a decade of successful desert off-road race promotion, including The Mint 400, The UTV World Championship and The California 300. The league was formed to promote the sport of desert off-road racing, the off-road industry, and to expand the reach of off-road companies beyond the industry and into the homes of every off-road race fan, globally. Key attributes of the newly formed league include large racer car counts, competitive and challenging race courses, safe and family-friendly spectating areas, multiple days of racing and off-road festivities all located near major cities and markets that positively affect the off-road industry. The Martelli Brothers, owners of the motorsports powerhouse production group Mad Media have made it their mission to grow the league into a four race series that showcases the best off-road racers on the best courses in North America.
