The Parker 400 Race Format & Start Procedures
GPS File Markings:
Course markings on the ground always take priority over what is provided on the GPS file, both in pits and on the entire race course.
Stop Checks: Stop Checks entering the pit are noted as “STOP CHECK, 25MPH SZ BEGINS” on the GPS file. All vehicles must come to a complete stop before entering the 25mph speedzones. Please use caution, as we will have course workers in that exact location.
Speed Zones: Race speed in all pits is 25 mph.
Resume Race Speed: When it is approved to resume race speed, it is noted as “25MPH SZ ENDS” on the GPS file. All vehicles may resume race speed when passing through the resume race speed signs.

Youth 1000 Race (Friday)
Lap Distance: ~7 miles
# of Laps: 45 minutes duration. Click here for scoring explained.
Start Method: Single vehicle off the line.
Start Interval: 1 minute.

Limited Car/Truck/UTV Race (Friday)
Main Pit will be divided into separate Limited Race (race course Friday only) and Unlimited Race (race course Saturday only) pits. The Unlimited and Limited specific GPS files reflect the different pit entrances/exits.

Start Order Notes:
- Pro UTV Classes will start in the order in which they qualified (mixed class).
Lap Distance: ~143 miles

Start Method: Single vehicle off the line.
Start Interval: 1 minute
Limited Race GPS Files:

These files were updated on January 8th to include VCP's.
These files include a correction at RM19 that keeps the course straight.

Youth 170/200/250 Race (Saturday)
Lap Distance: ~1.7 miles

Start Method: Side by side start.
Start Interval: 15 seconds.

Unlimited Car/Truck Race (Saturday)
Main Pit will be divided into separate Limited Race (race course Friday only) and Unlimited Race (race course Saturday only) pits. The Unlimited and Limited specific GPS files reflect the different pit entrances/exits.

Start Order Notes:
- Unlimited Truck (4WD), Unlimited Truck (2WD), Class 1 Unlimited, Class 1 and Unlimited Truck Legends will start in the order in which they qualified (mixed class).
- There will be a 10 minute gap between the last vehicle off the line in the above group and the start of the Unlimited Truck SPEC Class.
