Pit Information Guide

Access to Parker 400 pits is for race teams only.

Please be aware and understand the requirements below for entering a pit.

Pit Speed Limits:

Race speed in any pit is 25mph speed zone.

Pit Crew speed on all dirt roads leading to pit is 25 mph.

Main Pit Layout & Map

Limited Race and Unlimited Race pits will be separated, to minimize time in the pit speed zone and keep active racing on the day in which there is a race.

Limited Race Pits = East side of the CRIT Start/Finish Line Gauntlet

Unlimited Race Pits = West side of the CRIT Start/Finish Line Gauntlet

These different routes in/out of the pits will be marked on the ground and on your gps file. Please be sure you download the correct GPS file for the correct race!

Approved Pitting Locations (4 Pits):

There are four approved pitting locations at The Parker 400. You are not approved to pit anywhere else along the race course. All pits are considered “hot pits” meaning, they are designated for race teams who are actively racing, and should be used for pitting operations only. Space is limited, please only use the space you need and make efficient use of the space.

All race miles are calculated from the entrance and exit of the CRIT Gauntlet (Mileage does not include the ~4 miles of CRIT Gauntlet).

All pit distances are measured to “STOP CHECK, 25MH SZ BEGINS” waypoints on GPS files.
