Chinolas Motorsports RACECO Class 10
If you are familiar with NORRA, most likely you know Eliseo Garcia. Eliseo is one of the most popular racers from Ensenada, his work with NORRA alongside Mike Pearlman have made racing in Baja one of the most amazing experiences you can have with the Mexican 1000 rally, if you know, you know...
But when Eliseo is in front of the green flag and not dropping it, he has a machine capable of dominate Baja in it's entirely.
After racing in Class 10 for a few years and falling in love entirely, Eliseo and Team Chinolas made the investment into a RaceCo Class 10. According to Eliseo, this machine it's the ultimate Class 10, "as fast as it is nimble" without making the steep step to the unlimited categories.
Raceco was originally founded in the early 1980s by David Kreisler. Raceco quickly became a powerhouse racecar builder to rival the Chenowth brand in open-wheel buggy designs. Kreisler’s forward thinking attitude was perfectly timed to coincide with that era’s push in Class 1 designs for longer wheelbases, greater wheel travel and high horsepower engines.
This Class 10 debuted in the last edition of the Baja 1000. In it's 1st race it managed to finish 2nd in class with no mechanical problems at all. "It was incredible, usually a car during its first race you know it will have issues but we didn't have any, it was such an amazing ride the whole race!" Said Eliseo after asking how it performed. After that Baja 1000 the team was planning to race the complete SCORE Calendar, which it hasn't started yet due to the Covid-19 situation. Here's the complete specs table along with a beautiful photo gallery that any "buggy dork" will admire.
