Biography

Father of five, lifelong off-road racer, and owner of a small steel erection and welding fabrication shop. I've spent years chasing finish lines across the desert, competing in multiple Best in the Desert races as part of an Open Amateur team and earning a 2nd-place finish in the Ironman Expert class at the legendary Vegas to Reno. Closer to home, I've found success in New Mexico's local off-road racing scene, but trophies have never been the only goal. I'm always looking for the next challenge, whether it's on the racecourse, in the shop, or out on a new adventure. I have a reputation for showing up to the starting line a little overweight and a little underprepared, but one thing I never bring is the willingness to quit. When things get tough, determination takes over. Quitting has never been an option, and that's what's carried me through every race, every setback, and every adventure.
