About Honda Factory Off Road Racing
Honda Factory Off-Road Racing was founded by Jeff Proctor in 2015 in partnership with American Honda. The Ridgeline race truck was built to be the concept vehicle to launch the new 2nd Generation Ridgeline at SEMA in 2015. A week after the debut of the 2nd Generation Ridgeline, Proctor and his newly formed team headed to Baja California, Mexico with the Baja Ridgeline to compete in the longest point to point off road race in the world; the Baja 1000. Ultimately, the team won their inaugural run down the Baja peninsula and that was the beginning of the storied tradition the team has today.

In 2019, Proctor’s team took on the all new Honda Talon Sport SXS program to run in conjunction with the Ridgeline racing efforts. This team is the first of its kind in the modern with full Factory support and often called Off-Road Racing’s Factory mega team.

The Honda Factory Off-Road Team is in their 9th season and has collected 16 major race wins in the Ridgeline and 6 Major race wins in the Talon to date. Proctor continues to cultivate a culture of constant learning, true Grit while carrying on Honda’s winning traditions in motorsports.
