King Shocks Returns as Supporting Sponsor of 2022 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400

Mint 400 officials are pleased to announce the return of King Shocks as a supporting sponsor of the 2022 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400, returning to Las Vegas on March 9-13. As part of the agreement, King Shocks will be on hand at the Mint 400 Off-Road Festival on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas on Thursday, March 10, while King-backed racers will be on hand in Primm on Friday and Saturday competing for class victories on the challenging race course, which includes the King Shocks Sand Whoops. King will also put up a $10,000 contingency bonus for any driver who can take the overall win in Saturday’s Unlimited race while riding on King Shocks.

Once again King Shocks will bring a deep roster of athletes to the Great American Off-Road Race, led by top Unlimited Truck teams like Concrete Motorsports, BJ Baldwin, and a brand new truck from Dale Dondel. Other premier drivers and teams set to represent King at this year’s Mint 400 include Wilson Motorsports in Class 1, Householder Motorsports in Unlimited Truck Spec, Bruce Binnquist and Michael Mamelli Jr. in UTV Pro Turbo, and numerous others across both days of racing. They’ll look to add to a strong start to the year for King racers, who dominated King of the Hammers in both its desert events and the Race of Kings.
King Shocks is a manufacturer and servicer of custom made adjustable and rebuildable automotive shock absorbers and performance racing products for utility vehicles, OEM replacement and professional racing use. The Mint 400 has held the title of the toughest, most spectacular off-road race in North America since 1968 when it was first run. Initially, the race was a public relations event promoting the Mint Hotel’s annual deer hunt, but what started out as a hotel promotion soon grew into a legitimate desert race. Since its 2008 revival, “The Great American Off-Road Race” has only gotten bigger and more prestigious, and deeper fields every year only make it tougher to win.
