Championship Off-Road Pro 2 driver Keegan Kincaid and the #4 Lucas Oil/Cooper Tire/Vision Wheel truck are preparing for an extra busy month of August starting this weekend. On Saturday and Sunday, Kincaid will return to racing action from Bark River International Raceway, before he visits the Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at Brainerd International Raceway the following weekend and prepares for a return home to Crandon for this year’s World Championship Off-Road Races. “I’m hyped for a huge month ahead, both on track and off!” said Kincaid. “We’ve had some great runs at Bark River in the recent past, so it’s great to look ahead to getting back in the truck there, and then going back home to Crandon right after. Between them, it’s awesome to be able to take in a weekend of NHRA drag racing thanks to my partners at Lucas Oil, and I hope that we’ll introduce a ton of new fans to what makes short course racing so awesome!” KeeganDirtCityPreview Over the past two years, Bark River has been one of Kincaid’s better tracks on the schedule. He took the first race win at the track in 2021 after a year’s absence from the schedule. Last year, he finished second and fifth in one of his most consistent weekends of the season. This weekend, he’ll take on Friday practice at 2:45PM and Qualifying at 6:25PM, before racing at 5:55PM on Saturday and 5:15PM on Sunday. For those on site, Kincaid will be meeting with fans as part of the Pro Autograph Session at 1:30PM on Saturday, while FloRacing will carry all the live racing action all weekend long for those watching from home. The Lucas Oil NHRA Nationals at Brainerd are the last stop on the NHRA schedule before the famed US Nationals in Indianapolis, and see Top Fuel, Funny Car, and Pro Stock headline four days of competition. This year’s race marks the 41st time that the Minnesota-based track has hosted the event, and Kincaid and his Pro 2 truck will be on hand throughout the weekend. Tickets will be available at the gate throughout the weekend. KeeganDirtCityPreview
After Brainerd, focus turns to preparation for the 54th World Championship Off-Road Races at Kincaid’s home track, Crandon International Raceway. He’s won Crandon Cup races four times over his career, twice at each event, with his most recent Crandon World Cup win coming just two years ago. The final days of August will see Kincaid return home for the pre-race festivities, including the annual downtown parade, before two days of racing on Labor Day weekend.
Keegan Kincaid is supported by Lucas Oil, Vision Wheel, Cooper Tire, Langlade Ford, Fox Shocks, CBR, Ehren PSP, Roush Performance Products, and Impact. For more information and to stay in the loop, follow Keegan on Facebook, YouTube, and Instagram.
