Legendary lighting brand to be on hand at Mint 400 Off-Road Festival in downtown Las Vegas
Legendary off-road lighting brand KC will serve as a supporting sponsor of the BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 in 2021, Mint 400 officials announced today. KC will be on hand at the 2021 Mint 400 Off-Road Festival on Fremont Street in downtown Las Vegas on Thursday, December 2, while one lucky fan will get to ride in both the annual Mint 400 Parade and on the qualifying course in KC-backed vehicles.
“The KC brand is synonymous with all things off-road, and we’re excited to team up with them for the 2021 BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400,” said Mint 400 CEO Matt Martelli. “KC’s pioneering technology has lit the way for countless Mint 400 winners over the years, and we’re stoked to team up with them to give back to the off-road community for one lucky fan to get a taste of what it’s like to be in the baddest race vehicles in the world leading up to the event.”
For over 50 years, the KC brand has been a symbol of outdoor freedom, adventure, quality, and performance. We take features engineered for off-road racing and design them into unique lighting and adventure products used by those who have a thirst for the paths less traveled. We stand for the outdoor enthusiasts - from off-roaders to hikers to mountain bikers and anyone in-between - because that’s who we are, and we make products to allow us all to adventure further.
As part of the sponsorship, KC and the Mint 400 have teamed up to give away the Ultimate Mint 400 Experience to one lucky winner. One lucky winner gets to ride in a KC vehicle in the Mint 400 Parade, ride along in a race truck on the qualifier track, a full KC lighting and swag pack, and a Mint 400 merchandise kit.
The Mint 400 has held the title of the toughest, most spectacular off-road race in North America since 1968 when it was first run. Initially, the race was a public relations event promoting the Mint Hotel’s annual deer hunt. but what started out as a hotel promotion soon grew into a legitimate desert race. Since its 2008 revival, “The Great American Off-Road Race” has only gotten bigger and more prestigious, and deeper fields every year only make it tougher to win.
This year’s BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 will take place from December 1-5 in Las Vegas. More information on the event for racers and spectators is available at
