Two of the most exciting forms of modern motorsports team up

San Diego, CA, February 22nd, 2023 –  The Mint 400 owners, The Martelli Brothers and Event Director Kilian Hamlin announced today that they are partnering with Ryan Sage and his team at Formula Drift to engage in a promotional relationship. The Mint 400 will add live Formula D drift demos to the start/finish midway at Primm and will jointly be leveraging both parties’ social media reach. Select Formula Drift drivers will be on hand showcasing their Drift cars and doing thrilling drift demos during Mint 400 week in Las Vegas, March 8th -12th 2023. Off-Road and Drift race teams across the US prepare for what is sure to be one of the most exciting and thrilling race seasons in the sport’s history. n “Ryan Sage and his team have built one of the most valuable cultures in modern motorsports. Formula Drift has highly entertaining events coupled with unmatched digital reach and engagement with the youth market. We have watched them thrive while other forms of motorsports have audiences that are aging out. Their audience is exactly who we want to introduce off-road racing to,” said Mint 400 CEO and Co-Owner, Matt Martelli. “We are stoked to have them involved with The Mint 400 and plan on extending our relationship to our other events as well. Formula D drivers will be integrated into everything from the Parade to the Off-Road Festival to the start/finish midway at Primm.” n The Mint 400 features four days of off-road festivities in the beautiful Sin City, Las Vegas, NV. Started in 1968, The Mint 400 is woven into the fabric of American culture via massive media coverage and is a cornerstone of inspiration for Hunter S. Thompson’s novel “Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas.” Known as “The Great American Off-Road Race,” The Mint 400 attracts close to 400 race teams to compete for fame and glory at the toughest, most spectacular off-road race in North America. n “We have watched The Martelli Brothers turn The Mint 400 into the biggest off-road event in North America. I see a lot of crossover of our audiences and believe we both mutually benefit from the new relationship,” said Formula D president and co-founder Ryan Sage. “This is the perfect way to introduce our form of motorsport to people who already love motorsports.” Complete details, including Formula Drift demo schedule and drivers appearing at the Mint 400, will be released in the coming weeks. n This year’s BFGoodrich Tires Mint 400 will take place from March 8th-12th in Las Vegas.
