Biography
Stony Kujala, Cave Creek, AZ, is in his first season in an unlimited truck for AORC/UNLTD. Piloting a Geiser Ford in Unlimited Truck SPEC, he brings family legacy with #229 sponsored by SEER2, Diehl Equipment, Geiser Bros, BFGoodrich, FOX, Baja Designs & more. Stony started racing a Honda 70 ATC as a child, then BMX and karting. His father Anthony “Tony” Kujala is his inspiration who raced Class 5 Unlimited Baja Bugs in the 1980s and 1990s, winning SCORE and early BITD events; he supports the team today. Greg Diehl pioneered Class 5 with his DirTrix Bug (mid-1980s) and founded Diehl Equipment Co. in 1974—now sponsoring #229. Brad Person, now owner of Diehl, and Tony dominated in Class 5 and raced Class 10. Brad and son Jacob Person are key co-drivers, adding desert experience. Stony continues the Diehl–Person–Kujala legacy from Class 5 Bugs/Class 10 to unlimited trucks, chasing AORC glory. Full send!Major Wins
